Optometry Services for DVA Clients

If you have a GOLD Health Card from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), you are entitled to receiving FREE glasses every two years.

  

Your entitlements are:

• one pair of bifocal, trifocal or multifocal glasses OR
• one pair of reading AND one pair of distance glasses.

All your eye examinations and consultations with us are directly billed to DVA.

We will conduct your eye examination and discuss with you what your needs are and inform you about what is available to you. In addition, we assess your eye health and can run further tests if you are suspected of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy etc.

There is a wide selection of frames for you to choose from and if you don’t like the selection, you are able to pay a co-payment on the frames and/or lenses that are out of the offered DVA range.
